Ingredients
- 2 oz white tequila
- 1 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz mango purée (blended ripe mango with no water)
- ½ oz agave syrup
- 1 small slice of jalapeño or chili pepper
- Ice cubes
- Salt and chili powder or Tajín (for rimming the glass)
- Mango or lime slice (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Rim the glass: Mix salt with chili powder or use Tajín on a flat plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into the mixture.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, mango purée, agave syrup, and the slice of jalapeño or chili.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain into an ice-filled glass.
- Garnish with a slice of mango or lime.
